Ulmart creates about 100,000 documents in a good day. In Ultima ERP terminology ‘a document’ is an operation involving company’s resources. The document is the tool to operate goods, people and money ‘turnover’ within the system. The functionality of the system allows processing such volume of operations online, maintaining full functionality.

It is notorious that to support acceptable speed of work in case of big number of users, the company will need a lot of server equipment. This is expensive. This opinion is as common as 1C (version 8.2 and higher, as the earliest versions will not work even on all the super computers in the world), and SAP and Microsoft solutions.

The performance speed is controlled within the layer of program optimization of requests. Oracle has the most developed requests language and the most powerful intellectual optimizer, which allows to created complex requests that may be processed quickly. For example, the warehouse turnover may be correctly and easily calculated through one request. It equals Sales/Average Warehouse. "Average Warehouse" is a mathematically exact value without usual tolerance, such as "end of the day leftovers"; "the warehouse manager knows exactly that...", and we need to calculate the average meaning of the function describing warehouse leftovers:

We checked and found out that the deviation between common mathematical average algorithm of calculation of the turnover and the correct one shown above may reach 50%. Thus, our turnaround may constitute any time from one to three weeks: a fair basis to make financing decisions.

Ultima ERP by its architecture is a 3-chain application, and the application server is split into separate services that may be launched on separate servers. Application servers may form clusters. The application servers may generate reports using reserve database servers, and thus distribute the load and use the equipment more efficiently.

Ultima ERP works quickly with very big tables containing about 10 billion records: work, not only store. The system is partitioned in such a way that it allows storing rare historic data from one table in less quick cheap disks, and "fresh" operation «popular» data on the quicker disks. That’s it, there is not visible limit in requesting data, that’s why Ultima ERP does not have such atavism of any brand solutions as data archiving. You always have access to your data.

A few words on security:
Double record control is performed on nucleus level.
The server nucleus guarantees the operational consistency of the data: either the entire chain will be successful, or no operations will be performed. This allows correct record of economic values in the system. Similarly, the server nucleus allows setting up he access rights for each business object or on the level of business records. Special language allows creating unlimitedly complex rule of access to the records as read only, record, editing and deletion.

Due to the level of security mechanisms (nucleus), the level of the control is not reduced even when huge volumes of information are processed, which is not possible in 1C and equivalent solutions..
